A wellness companion for iPhone and Android

Understand why you feel the way you do.

IRVO reads your health app and your calendar, compares each day with your own normal, and tells you what's different in plain words.

Then talk it through, note what your body says, and turn goals into plans that adapt.

Apple HealthHealth ConnectGoogle & Apple CalendariPhone & Android

IRVO's Home screen: Recovery is around your usual and Load is around your usual, each as a ring compared with your own normal, above What IRVO's learnt.

How it works

Connect once. Then just live your day.

  1. Connect your health app

Let IRVO read Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. Add Google Calendar or your phone's own calendar if you like.

  2. IRVO learns your normal

Recovery and Load compare each day with your own recent history. Connections between things appear after at least 14 days of data.

  3. Get your read, then talk it through

Each day you get two rings and a plain sentence. Talk to IRVO, note what your body says, and plan with Arcs.

Inside IRVO

Everything IRVO does, in the order you'll meet it.

The daily read

Two rings. One plain sentence.

Home shows Recovery and Load, each set against your own normal, and Today's read puts the day into plain words. A ring with no data says so instead of guessing.

  • Recovery compares HRV, resting heart rate and sleep with your own last 90 days
  • Load adds what your calendar asks of you to how your body looks today
  • Tap a ring for what's behind it, the last week and the sources

Not medical advice. IRVO compares you with your own recent days — see a doctor about anything that worries you.

The Today sheet in IRVO: “Today looks like a pretty standard day for you, nothing pulling you in any particular direction.”

Talk to IRVO

Just talk. IRVO takes the notes.

Tap the orb and say how you slept or what's on your mind. IRVO writes the body notes, context and journal entries for you, and every one can be undone from its card.

  • Chat any time, or call IRVO for a real voice conversation with a live caption
  • A call lands in your chat as a transcript, with what IRVO noted
  • If you tell IRVO you might be in danger, you get helplines, not a sales pitch

The orb is IRVO's attention, made visible. It reflects your day, follows you through the app and speaks in short bubbles. It never makes a sound.

Calls: Pro · free 3-min intro

The orb menu in IRVO with three choices: Call IRVO, Chat, and Today.
IRVO's chat: a call under a minute long, then you write “Slept badly, and my neck is stiff again” and IRVO replies “Got it — logged your neck stiffness and noted the bad sleep. Hope it eases up today.”, with a body note for the neck and a context note for the bad sleep, each with an Undo button.

Body notes

Point to where it hurts.

Tap a spot on a 3D body and describe it in your own words. Each spot keeps its own history.

  • 64 regions on a male or female body. Drag to turn it
  • No scale to rate. Your words are the note
  • If a note sounds like a red flag, IRVO suggests getting checked and links the NHS pages behind it

Insights

Patterns in your own data.

Insights has three parts: Today, Trends and Patterns. A connection shows what tends to go together for you, not proof that one thing causes another.

  • Today: how today reads, and what IRVO heard from
  • Trends: a 14-day grid, your normal, weekly rhythms and notable days
  • Patterns: findings, hidden connections and day types, once there are at least 14 days of data

On Free you see what a deep finding connects, such as “Alcohol and Recovery”, but not the finding itself.

Arcs

Turn a goal into an Arc.

Say what you want to change in one sentence. IRVO shapes it into a phased plan you can start, ask to change, or turn down.

  • Each morning brings that day's steps, with a line on why those ones
  • With Pro, the steps adjust to your week and say what for
  • A day you didn't do is held, not missed. Nothing breaks

Plans are small, repeatable steps, with an outcome check at the end. IRVO never suggests medication, supplements, fasting or restrictive diets.

Planner

See what your day asks of you.

Your Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, hour by hour, with that day's rings above it. IRVO works out how demanding each event is, which feeds your Load, and tags Google Calendar events with it.

  • Works with Google Calendar and your phone's own calendar
  • Jump to any date
  • IRVO reads your calendar and never changes it
The Planner: today's Recovery and Load rings above an hour-by-hour timeline with a quarterly planning workshop, run club and dinner with friends.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What is IRVO?

IRVO is a wellness companion for iPhone and Android. It reads your sleep, heart rate and recovery from Apple Health or Health Connect, plus what your calendar asks of you, and measures each day against your own normal. Then it tells you in plain words what's different. You can talk to it, note what your body says, and turn a goal into a plan.

Do I need a wearable?

No, but it helps. Recovery needs sleep and heart data, which usually come from a watch or ring that writes to Apple Health or Health Connect. Without one, Load can still read your calendar, and chat, body notes, the journal, the Planner and Arcs all work. A ring with no data says so rather than guessing.

Which wearables work?

Any device that writes sleep and heart data to Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, such as Apple Watch, Oura, WHOOP, Garmin or Pixel Watch. IRVO reads the health app, not the device, so it has no direct integrations, and what each device shares with the health app varies by brand. IRVO is not affiliated with these companies.

Is IRVO a medical app?

No. IRVO is a wellness app, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and nothing in it is medical advice. Talk to a doctor before making any medical decision, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.

Where IRVO's health information comes from

How does IRVO learn my normal?

Recovery compares last night's heart rate variability, resting heart rate and sleep with your own last 90 days. Load compares how your body looks today with your own usual and adds what your calendar asks of you. A connection between two things appears only after at least 14 days of data, when it is unlikely to be chance; until then, Insights shows how many days it has so far. IRVO never compares you with other people.

The research behind each reading

What does IRVO do with my calendar?

IRVO reads your events to see what your day asks of you. Each event's title, time and calendar name are sent to IRVO's server, which works out how demanding it is; that feeds Load and the Planner. Google Calendar access is read-only, and IRVO never creates, changes or deletes an event. You can connect Google Calendar, your phone's own calendar (Apple Calendar on iPhone), both, or neither.

Is my data private?

Your data is never sold. It is shared only with the service providers that run IRVO, which are listed in the Privacy Policy. IRVO reads your health data and never writes to it, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.

Privacy PolicyDelete your account

How much does it cost?

IRVO is free, with limits on a few things. IRVO Pro is $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, which works out to $5.00 a month. Prices are in USD; the App Store or Google Play shows your local price before you pay.

Compare Free and Pro

How do I cancel?

IRVO Pro is billed by the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel in your store account's subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to stop the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing breaks. IRVO has no streaks. Your rings read the days you have, and an Arc day you didn't do is held, not missed: the plan waits for you.

Can I talk to IRVO?

Yes. Tap the orb to chat or call. Free includes 20 chat messages a week and one 3-minute call to meet IRVO. IRVO Pro includes unlimited chat (fair use) and up to 60 minutes of calls a month, up to 10 minutes per call. Whatever IRVO notes for you can be undone.

What are Arcs?

An Arc turns a goal into a plan. Say what you want to change, IRVO proposes a phased plan, and you start it, ask for changes, or turn it down. Each morning you get that day's steps and why. Free runs 1 Arc at a time; Pro runs as many as you like.

iPhone and Android?

Both. On iPhone IRVO reads Apple Health; on Android it reads Health Connect. Join early access and we'll email you when each one is available.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile and tap Delete Account. Or ask for it on the web at irvo.app/delete-account. If you signed in with Apple, IRVO also revokes its access to your Apple ID.
